Summer is here and we all know what that mean…its Festival season! Love Box, Wireless and Latitude were a few weeks and I’m sure there’s plenty more happening in the UK and abroad. Unfortunately for me I didn’t attend any of them (boring life ehn!?), but just because I didn’t get to go doesn’t mean I can’t rock what I think is a festival must “rock-able” hairstyle; Bantu Knot!

House Of Fraser are running a blogger competition where you create your “Festival Hairstyles” using a product of House of Fraser hair care to complete the look. As the weather has hit maximum temperature, all I look for nowadays is comfort! mostly at festivals, I want to feel free! care-free, and not have nothing obstructing me view hence why I’ve gone for a simple yet chic hair style…Bantu Knots (also known as Zulu knots) is a hairstyle when the hair is sectioned into diamond, triangle or square shapes and then twisted into knots.

Bantu Knots is also a great way to add define curls to the hair without using heat, curling rods or any instrument at make curls, and works well with any hair length or texture. To achieve the perfect finish I used Aveda Control Paste Finishing Paste, this product is amazing! I got it in one of my goodie bags from an event and used it for the very first time and I was impressed, it a light weight creamy paste that catches the littlest hair, gives the hair just the right amount of shine, and keeps the hair at bay. Below are pictures of me over the weekend on a night out and at the Yoruba Festival on Saturday.

whats your ideal Festival Hairstyle? And what product would you use?
