Lipsticks are one of my favourite makeup essential after mascaras, so I get really excited when there’s a new launch. DHC a beauty brand that I absolutely adore just launched a new Age-Defying Premium Lipstick GE collection. The collection launched on 1st august and lucky for me, I manage to get my hands on 3 of my favourite shades out of the 6 shades in the collection. The new Age-defying Premium Lipstick collection was created baring in mind what we put our lips through day by day, whether it be kissing, talking, drinking, eating, or even laughing our lips goes through a lot of hardship. So DHC created this range of wearable and modern shades of 6 age-dyfing lipsticks that fight the signs of ageing and completing your look at the same time. The lipstick has the Pure colour Technology, in other words- it has microized pigments that deflect light to create a plumping, 3-D lip effect. It’s also help reduce the appearance of thin/vertical lines with the help of a range of anti-ageing ingredients like macadamia oil, olive oil and rice bran oil which are best agents known to keep the lips/skin moisturises and it has collagen and sodium hyaluronate to lock in moisture with vitamin A and geranium to protect and condition the lips.

I love the softness and smooth effect of the lipstick, it’s glides effortlessly onto the lips, giving a full coverage with a hint of sheen. I’m usually not a huge fan of sheen lipstick but this one certainly does it for me as it has not too much sheen. The Age-defying Premium has a really pretty packaging, it’s come in a floral silver steel case; I would say the packaging is a little too old fashion and looks like something I would find in my mothers makeup purse but that’s just my opinion. The lipsticks are available in 6 shades which are Petal Pink (PK102)

And can be purchase online at DHC website and a selection of DHC products are also available at BeautyMART, Selfridges, Fenwick of Bond Street.
